Everyone please join us in wishing our good friend and International Terra Incognita partner Prof. Ronisley "Roni" Martins good luck in his upcoming doctoral dissertation defense! He will be defending this week at the Universidade Federal do Amazonas. His work, entitled "Complex Systems of the Geodiversity of the Rio Preto da Eva Watershed -AM: Prospective Geoscenarios of Landscape Physiognomy" provides significant new insight into Amazonian landscapes and conservation. We are proud to call him a friend, and will be just as proud to call him doctor. Good luck, Roni!
